RAID = Race Across Iowa in a Day

This is the inaugural year of a new extreme sporting event in Iowa. On Saturday, May 14, 2011, we will begin in Council Bluffs at 4 AM and make an approximately 300 mile ride in groups, with support drivers and planned stops every 50 miles, go along Hwy 92, and finish that evening in Muscatine.

Alternatively, riders can choose to ride a half-race from either Council Bluffs to Indianola, or Indianola to Muscatine. Half-day riders will begin at 4 AM in Council Bluffs with the full-day riders; or they can begin in Indianola at 11 AM to help spar the full-day riders onward to Muscatine.

We are hoping for a crowd of about 50 riders, and a strong tail wind!
